1 Tbl. MINCED ONION
1/4 cup FLOUR
4 cups CHICKEN BROTH
2 cups COOKED WILD RICE
1/2 tsp SALT
1 cup. HALF AND HALF, MINCED PARSLEY
Optional:
1/3 cup MINCED HAM
1/3 cup GRATED CARROT
3 Tbl. SLIVERED ALMONDS
1/3 cup FINELY CHOPPED CELERY
Cooking Instructions
Sauté onion in butter. Blend in flour. Gradually add broth, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Pour into Crock Pot. Add all other ingredients. Cook on low overnight. Garnish with parsley.
