Manicotti
Ingredients
8 oz. MANICOTTI NOODLES - cook as directed.
8 oz. SHREDDED MOZZARELLA CHEESE
24 oz. COTTAGE CHEESE
2 EGGS (slightly beaten)
1/2 cup DRY BREAD CRUMBS
1/2 cup GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
2 Tbl. CHOPPED PARSLEY
1 tsp. SUGAR
1/2 tsp. SALT
1/4 tsp. PEPPER
15 1/2 oz. SPAGHETTI SAUCE
1/4 cup GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
Cooking Instructions
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In large bowl, combine all ingredients EXCEPT spaghetti sauce and 1/4 cup of parm. cheese.
Stuff each manicotti, spread 2 cups spaghetti sauce on bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Place filled manicotti in a single layer over sauce.
Pour remaining sauce over top. Cover and bake for 40-45 minutes. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving. Sprinkle top with 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese.
